Programs

Academics:

Weimar Hills provides State Standards aligned curriculum in all core subjects. The State Standards are designed to be robust and relevant to the real world, reflecting the knowledge and 21st century skills that our students need for success in college and careers. The Standards also require more critical thinking, problem-solving, and writing across disciplines from students as well as real-world modeling and practice making presentations of their work.

Academic Excellence: Students are recognized at an Academic Excellence Assembly each Trimester.

  • Principal’s List - earned for all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students achieving a 4.0 GPA (all A’s);

  • Honor Roll - earned for all students achieving A’s and B’s with no F’s;

  • VIP - earned by all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who improve their GPA by .5 or better with no F’s.

CARE Crew

CARE Crew:

CARE Crew is a group of selected 8th grade students who help spread positive culture around campus and community. CARE is an acronym for Cooperate, Accept, Respect, and Encourage. The crew is responsible for modeling the character traits, as well as helping others learn about them. The students in CARE Crew participate in new student orientation, first week of school activities, lunch time/after school activities, anti-bullying lessons as well as the canned food drive and gift drive for our local community.
